This is the third of the Stamping Peaches Challenges.  First, I want to thank those that joined us and submitted cards to our challenges. Thank you, Ladies and Gentleman. Your interpretation of the layout shows off your talents.

NOW FOR STAMPING PEACHES CHALLENGE 012--LEAVES- it is a THEME CHALLENGE

This week holds several meanings in my life and I debated between a Birthday Card or a "Remembering You"/ "Thinking of You" card.  It is also five weeks before Thanksgiving so that also seems appropriate. So here is what I did.

For this challenge I used StampinUp!'s digital software, MY DIGITAL STUDIO (MDS). The wonderful thing about MDS is that the stamp images, colors, and paper never go out of date and are always available to download for use with either My Digial Studio software or your editing/publishing software. I can create many things including cards, posters, or tags. I can also use the images on newsletters, headers for blogs or stationary, or just adding an image to a project or worksheet.

These leaves are individual punches from Wonderfall MDS Kit (also available as clear mount (item #128087) and wood mount (item #131949) stamp sets.   I filled each leaf with This and That Epic Day Designer Series Paper (130814) Of course I used the digital version This and That Epic Day Kit (item #133465). I also used the Truly Grateful Stamp Brush Set (134928 from MDS) for the sentiment and wheat.  Hope you enjoy this as much as I did making it.

Stamping Peaches Challenge 011

This is the second of the Stamping Peaches Challenges.  First I want to thank those that joined us and submitted a card for our first challenge. Thank you, Ladies. They are lovely cards. I know someone special is going to love receiving them.

NOW FOR STAMPING PEACHES CHALLENGE 011 -- the first of our layout challenges.

This layout has SOOOOOOO many possibilities. I have had so many ideas for it and am really excited to see your ideas.  This card was so much fun. Starting with the poinsettias (I made a number of them watching the Braves.): To make them you need some red and green based DSP and the Merry Minis Punch Set (126882  the 3 punches for $16.95)

I used the mini ornament punch -- 6 red punches for the petals and 3 green punches for the leaves. I added the BLING with a circle of Champagne Glimmer Paper  (127885 if you don't have any scrapes). I used mini glue dots to adhere them down the side of a piece of Crumb Cake Card Stock (120953 for a pack of 8 1/2 x 11) that was embossed with the Northern Flurry embossing folder (120902 for $7.95) with the Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine (113439). Before adhering the crumb cake card stock to the card base, I added some Pistachio Pudding 3/8"
Stretch Trim (130020) horizontally just above the bottom flower. The card base is also Pistachio Pudding (131294). There you have it!

Fall is such a wonderful time of year! The air is cooling, the leaves are turning, a new school year begins. Some years it brings a mixture of joy, sadness, and hope. Joy in the excitement it brings, sadness in the goodbyes that must be made, and hope for tomorrow. The leaf on this card comes in a variety of colors – much like those around us are varied and different. Yellow, the lightest color is uplifting and illuminating leading us hope, joy, and fun. Orange combines that hope and cheerfulness with energy and stimulation to bring warmth and happiness. The symbolism of green is balance and harmony and the color brown adds stability and support as a down-to-earth color.

Hope this inspires you to create and marvel in the creations of God.

IT IS JUNE ...... 
and after a wonderful weekend being able to order from multiple catalogs we settle into June and focus on the this years catalog. 

At our OPEN HOUSE each of us focused on part of the new offerings. I was in charge of the the HOSTESS stamp set and the NEW IN-COLORS.

I just love this simple card made with the circle punches and the Elegant Butterfly(#127526) punch. The card also uses the Modern Label Punch. The variety of colors makes this a colorful card fr many occasions. You might want to use the new Bitty Butterfly (#129406) or the Spring Sampler (#125510-wood/#125512-Clear) and any number of other punches.

Best of 25 Years Stamps

As part of our 25-year anniversary celebration, we're bringing back some of our favorite stamp images from the last quarter century and combining them into 12 sets, which will release-one set per month-during 2013. Even better, along with some great classic images, each "Best of" set will also include a never-before-seen image!
